Liverpool are gearing up to face Chelsea in the FA Cup final this weekend - but it may have attracted some attention with its rather unusual kick-off time.

This is the first time that Liverpool have reached the FA Cup final since 2012, which the Reds lost to Chelsea.

For the London club, this is their third consecutive FA Cup final but they have lost their last two.

Due to BBC scheduling issues, the FA Cup final has been brought forward in a surreal turn of events.

Eurovision will be broadcasted from 6.15 to 7.15pm on BBC Two with the FA Cup final on BBC One until 7.15pm, assuming there is no extra time and penalties.

However if extra time and penalties are needed, the FA Cup final will impact the coverage of Pointless Celebrities which is planned between 7.15pm to 8pm.

This is different to previous years, where in the 2021 and 2020 FA Cup finals, kick off was at 5.15pm and 5.30pm respectively.
