Sporting Club de Portugal boss Rúben Amorim will not be joining Liverpool or West Ham United this summer, according to reports.
Aston Villa, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea have all been touted as possible landing destinations for the Sporting CP boss — who is yet to make the move.
The search for Jürgen Klopp's successor and the Hammers possibly looking to move away from David Moyes in East London led to Amorim being linked with both the Liverpool and West Ham jobs — although in the latest twist, it now appears unlikely that he will take up either post.

It was reported this morning that talks with West Ham had 'not been positive'.
Now, according to Record, Amorim will not be joining either of the two clubs after traveling to the United Kingdom to negotiate a possible role at the London Stadium.
The report goes on to state that the switch to the Premier League remains a possibility in the future but for now, Amorim remains 'calm and focused' on the Sporting CP job, and he may not come to manage in England at all.
The frontrunner for the role in light of the Amorim news, remains to be seen.
Liverpool.com says: Liverpool cooled the interest in Amorim for one reason or another, meaning there is likely a plan in place for who the club will be targeting in the coming weeks.
Amorim went from Liverpool favorite to being bound for West Ham and then potentially out of the running for both posts in the space of 24 hours, and there are sure to be more twists to come.
