Liverpool have been one of the busiest sides in the summer transfer window as they look to build on their last Premier League title success.

Arne Slot, who replaced Jurgen Klopp at the beginning of the campaign, took English football by storm to seal a record-equalling 20th top-flight crown for the club.

Mohamed Salah was instrumental for Slot’s title winners, with an eye-watering 46 goal contributions in 37 games, taking the Reds out of reach at the top of the table.

The summer transfer window is certainly heating up, and moves have already been made by Liverpool, signing six new players to bolster their squad.

The Premier League champions were locked in a battle with Newcastle for two of the most sought-after strikers around, however, they are now favourites to complete a move for Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitike.

The Reds made an approach to their Premier League rivals earlier this week for Alexander Isak but were told he is not for sale at any price, hence, Liverpool wasted no time in switching attention to Ekitike.

Frankfurt turned down the Magpies’ offer for Ekitike.

Liverpool have approached the Bundesliga club about Ekitike, with the Reds looking to pounce?

He has agreed personal terms with Liverpool and will put pen to paper on a six-year deal.

Luis Diaz’s future continues to be a major talking point, with Liverpool having turned down an offer from Bayern Munich and insisting the winger isn’t for sale.

Bayern are keen to sign the 28-year-old and are reportedly making progress in their pursuit of the forward.

Meanwhile, ten young players have signed contracts with Liverpool ahead of the 2025–2026 campaign, according to Independent coverage of Liverpool Football Club Academy, Lewis Bower.

Scholarships have been agreed upon by defenders Harry Moran, Cameron Williams, Harvey Owen, Lucas Clarke, Lenix Conde, Ellis Hickman, midfielders Haydn Murray-Holme, AJ Yeguo, and forwards Finn Inglethorpe and La’more Forrester.
