Alan Hutton has insisted Joshua Kimmich is exactly the kind of player Liverpool need to rebuild their midfield. But, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Tottenham and Aston Villa defender doesn’t see Kimmich leaving Bayern Munich any time soon. German club are looking for at least £52million to part ways with the midfielder and are unlikely to lower their asking price.

Hutton insisted the addition of the German international would be incredible for the Reds. “I think it would be an outstanding signing for Liverpool,” he told Football Insider.



“I think it would be a really good signing for Liverpool and I think that is the kind of player they need to rebuild the midfield but I do not see it happening.“ Jurgen Klopp’s side are looking to add reinforcements to their midfield this summer as they begin a massive overhaul of their squad.
