Arne Slot has faced criticism from Simon Jordan, who has slammed the Liverpool boss for sounding "entitled."
Jordan, the former Crystal Palace chairman, reacted after Slot's complaints about Liverpool's struggle to break down Burnley's defensive setup during the team's narrow 1-0 victory at Turf Moor on Sunday.
The Reds maintained their perfect start to the Premier League campaign with four wins from four matches by defeating the newly-promoted Clarets.
Mohamed Salah stepped up to convert from the spot, rescuing Liverpool from potential embarrassment, with Slot subsequently commenting post-match that his side found it difficult to fashion quality opportunities against opposition who deployed "11 players in their 18-yard box."
These remarks have irritated Jordan, who has lambasted the Dutchman for what he describes as a "ridiculous observation."
Speaking on talkSPORT, Jordan declared: "I listened to Slot the other day, who I like, talking about Burnley and I thought, 'Who do you think you are?' [Slot said] Burnley are very difficult to play against - a side that banks up and doesn't give us any space.

I thought it was a ridiculous observation, entitled outlook."
Despite criticism from Jordan over his comments on Burnley's style of play, Slot did balance his remarks with commendation for the effectiveness of their approach
He also made it clear that he wasn't criticizing Liverpool's opponents.
The Reds' manager stated: "It's, by the way, [a] very good that they do this because they've almost got a point, so I'm not saying anything negative about it, I'm just trying to explain how difficult it is against a Premier League team because they are very good players as well.
"If they defend with all of them back, and they hardly try to bring the ball out from the back because the goalkeeper every time plays long, and we don't score from a set-piece.
"Then the only thing you can score from is open play – and open play is quite difficult if you have to outplay 11 players in their own 18-yard box."
The Reds have left it late in every one of their games this season
They needed an 88th-minute goal from Federico Chiesa to beat Bournemouth on the opening day, while Rio Ngumoha scored in the 100th minute to beat Newcastle.
Dominik Szoboszlai's winner against Arsenal came in the 83rd minute before Salah's 95th-minute penalty against Burnley.
Then, on Wednesday, Virgil van Dijk popped up in the 92nd minute to beat Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
