Jurgen Klopp made a brutal admission about Chelsea's performance against Liverpool's title rivals Arsenal.
The German - who is into the final month of his Liverpool career - admitted he wasn't impressed by the west London outfit's showing.
Klopp would've been hoping Chelsea could give his side a helping hand in the title race by knocking fellow contenders Arsenal off their stride.
It is difficult to ignore the Arsenal game from last night.
It means, should Liverpool wish to add a second Premier League title under Klopp to their honours list, they'll have to hope Arsenal slip-up somewhere between now and the end of the season.
If not, it will mean Klopp's final season in charge of the Reds will end with just one trophy to show for their efforts.
The ex-Borussia Dortmund chief will depart following Liverpool's final game of the Premier League season, with current Feyenoord boss Arne Slot tipped to take over.
However, former Liverpool defender-turn Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher believes Liverpool's pursuit of Slot highlights the lack of top-quality managers on the market.
He said:
"From Feyenoord to Liverpool is a huge jump and I think it shows at this moment that there's probably a dearth of real top managers out there, when you look at who Liverpool are going for."
