Liverpool are braced for the potential departure of Harvey Elliott, who has been linked with a move away all summer, and the imminent arrival of Alexander Isak could now see the England star leave.

The Reds have yet to receive a bid for Elliott, but RB Leipzig are interested in the Reds player as a replacement for Xavi Simons, who joined Tottenham last week.

Now that Isak is arriving, there is a chance that Elliott will leave by 7pm tonight.

Elliott struggled for opportunities at Liverpool last season and was very much a squad player under Arne Slot with the majority of his minutes coming from the bench.
