Liverpool’s 2025 Premier League title parade shattered previous records, drawing an estimated crowd of 1.5 million fans which is almost double the 850,000 who turned out for the 2019 Champions League victory celebration.

In celebration of Liverpool’s 20th league triumph, the Reds came out in historic numbers and turned the 10-mile through the city center into a carnival of red.

This marks the largest ever turnout for a sporting parade in Merseyside.

Fans flooded the streets to catch a glimpse of the players, staff, and the Premier League trophy as the bus passed through key areas of the city.

However, what began as a joyful celebration of Liverpool’s Premier League triumph on May 26 turned into a scene of chaos and fear when a black SUV drove into fans gathered on Water Street.

Forty-seven people were injured, including four children, with 27 taken to the hospital.

Emergency crews quickly arrived, even turning a nearby restaurant into a makeshift treatment center.

Police have arrested a 53-year-old man from Liverpool.

Investigations are ongoing to understand why the vehicle drove into the crowd.

Liverpool FC expressed deep sadness and offered full support to authorities.

The Premier League called the incident “awful” and wished those affected a swift recovery.

A day meant for cheers ended in shock—but the unity of the Liverpool community remains unshaken.

The historic day was marred when a Ford Galaxy plowed into crowds on Water Street, injuring 79 people.

While as per the current update there were no casualties.

Despite the heart-breaking moment, the day largely reflected Liverpool’s unique bond with its community as the club, players and various individuals offered sympathy and support to the affected individuals.

The day was a record-breaking celebration of unity and silverware, and for many, it represented resiliency.

The parade capped off a remarkable season for the Reds.

With momentum from both the title and the overwhelming fan support, Liverpool will now look ahead to their summer plans and the 2025/26 campaign.
