Liverpool are said to be chasing the signature of Newcastle striker Alexander Isak this summer after the Sweden international bagged 23 Premier League goals last season.



And Express Sport takes a look at four stars the Reds could offer the Magpies in part-exchange for Isak to get a deal over the line.

The Scotland international has starred in the north west and has won a host of trophies since arriving from Hull in 2017.

But he only has one year remaining on his contract and has been tipped to depart Anfield to sign for Atletico Madrid.

The 31-year-old would have plenty to offer Newcastle if Liverpool denied him the opportunity to move to Spain and instead included him in the Isak deal.

Jarell Quansah failed to establish himself under Slot last season, with Ibrahima Konate preferred at the heart of defence alongside Virgil van Dijk.

And his inclusion in a deal for Isak would make a dent in the transfer fee Newcastle are said to be demanding.
