Liverpool may have to sign a new winger this summer if Luis Diaz leaves the club, but they may live to regret not signing Champions League winner Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Kvaratskhelia scored in a ruthless 5-0 win over Inter Milan as Paris Saint-Germain won the European competition for the very first time, and set a new record for the largest margin of victory in the final.
Liverpool were heavily linked with Kvaratskhelia before he joined PSG in January for a reported $90 million.
Heading into this summer, Diaz has been linked with Barcelona and several clubs in Saudi Arabia, but his future remains unknown.
Liverpool tried to sign Kvaratskhelia months before PSG made its approach, but lost out to the French giants who have now completed the treble this season after winning Ligue 1, the French Cup, and the Champions League.
