Since Newcastle’s highly controversial takeover by PIF was finalised last week, it really didn’t take long for the transfer whispers to start.

In fact, they went into overdrive from the minute the deal was announced.

There will be a lot of moving parts in the January transfer window as a result of the Newcastle takeover.

Newcastle fans, starved of success in a barren run that stretches back decades, are now dreaming of signing some of the world’s top talent.

This would bring Liverpool and FSG much-needed funds, and lessen the club’s wage bill at the same time.

Liverpool could have several players of interest to Newcastle, players who could play a big role in the early stages of the club’s almost certain rise to the upper echelons of the league.

It’s been speculated that the club can spend a total of £190m in the next couple of transfer windows and not arouse the fury of FFP.
