A Liverpool fan who witnessed the moment that a car drove into supporters during the club's Premier League trophy parade said the vehicle "just wasn't stopping" as it headed towards people.
Many supporters were forced to run from where they were stood on Water Steet to avoid being hit, with one fan describing how he was stood with his family before having to take evasive action.
The fan, named Matt Cole, also spoke of how ambulances promptly arrived as people ran from the scene.

"I was there with my family moments before," he told the BBC.
The back of the rear wind-shield had been smashed it but it just had no intention of stopping.
“At that point, we and others dived into a side street and then once I was sure my family were safe, I looked back to see people sitting on the ground surrounded by people.
“Police came running from all over, ambulances, police vans, as we moved away through those crowds.
“An entire squad of armed police cars stopped, and people jumped out with rifles and again big medical packs on and began running to the scene of the incident.”
Cole and his family then headed for a side-street before walking away.
The police have since issued pleas to fans not to share footage of the incident on social media.
The parade had earlier got underway at 2.30pm with the bus taking more than three hours to complete the 10-mile route.
It was the first time the club had been up to hold a parade with the Premier League trophy, after the 2020 celebrations were curtailed by the Covid pandemic.
