Liverpool's name continues to pop up in the rumor mill, this time with Bayer Leverkusen's Jeremie Frimpong at the center of transfer whispers.

Spanish publication Defensa Central has stirred the pot by claiming that Frimpong is "close" to sealing a deal with Liverpool.

This update trails closely behind Sport Bild's assertion from Germany that the Reds have a serious interest in bringing Frimpong aboard this summer.
