A number of members from Arne Slot’s backroom staff have posted heartfelt messages after helping Liverpool win the Premier League, with supporters seeing the funny side to one post in particular.

And with a number of the German’s backroom staff departing alongside him, the Dutchman needed to build in his own support team.

Sipke Hulshoff and Ruben Peeters joined Slot in making the switch from Feyenoord to Liverpool, while John Heitinga, Fabian Otte and Aaron Briggs were all later added to the ranks.

And the quintet - along with surviving goalkeeping coach Claudio Taffarel - have all now taken to social media to celebrate the Reds’ title win.

Taking to Instagram, first assistant coach Hulshoff posted pictures of himself arm in arm with Slot and a number of Liverpool players as they sang ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ in front of the Kop and a group photo in the dressing room.

Meanwhile, he wrote in his accompanying caption: “Believed from day one, worked hard, and never gave up.

Goalkeeping coach Taffarel shared an aerial shot of the players and staff singing ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’, along with a simple caption of ‘YNWA’ with a love heart and trophy emojis.

Meanwhile on LinkedIn, both Peeters and Briggs post group pictures of the players and staff on the pitch celebrating in front of the Kop.

Lead physical performance coach Peeters wrote: “Premier League champions as a reward for the great work with this group of fantastic people.”

And Briggs said: “What a great bunch of people to go to work with every day, and some of them aren’t bad at football either….

Liverpool FC has launched its Premier League champions range after winning its 20th league title.

Fans can pick up items including the 24/25 Home Stadium Jersey with 'Champions 20' printing or 'Champions 24/25' today.

But Liverpool supporters were most amused by Heitinga’s own post marking the occasion on social media as the Dutchman also posted the same group picture along with the caption: “Premier League winner” and a trophy emoji.

Heitinga is a former Everton player, having made 140 appearances in four and a half years with the Blues.
