Liverpool have confirmed plans for their Premier League title parade.
Arne Slot’s side won their first championship in front of fans since 1990 with Sunday’s 5-1 dismantling of Tottenham to clinch a record-equalling 20th crown.
Details of the Reds’ procession through the city have now been revealed with the planned route set to follow the same one club took in both 2019 and 2022.
Players and staff will board an open-top bus at Allerton Maze on Monday, May 26 which will begin at 2.30pm and continue through to its conclusion on Blundell Street.
Cllr Liam Robinson, leader of Liverpool City Council, said: “We’re delighted to officially invite Liverpool Football Club to parade around the city on May 26.
“A Liverpool victory parade is more than football – it’s a celebration of our city’s pride, passion and community spirit.
“A huge amount of work goes on behind the scenes in preparation for an event of this size and scale, and there has already been months of careful planning taking place as the Team Liverpool approach – which we saw work so well throughout Eurovision – comes to the fore again.
“It’s set to be an unforgettable Bank Holiday weekend as we give the team the celebration they deserve.”
