Liverpool's Premier League trip to Brentford in October has been rescheduled, the club have confirmed.

This decision comes after UEFA published the dates and times of this season's Champions League league phase fixtures.

Liverpool are competing at the highest level on multiple fronts, which will be a test to Arne Slot's side as they bid to retain the Premier League title whilst producing a better showing in Europe.



Last season the Reds exited at the round of 16 stage following a penalty shoot-out defeat to eventual Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain.

A draw took place to determine the eight opponents Liverpool will face in the 2025/26 competition's league phase on Thursday and now UEFA have fully finalised the running order.

At first this presented a difficult scenario in late October balancing domestic and continental duties.

Following the second international break of the season, Liverpool are now travelling to Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday, October 22, for an 8pm kick-off.

Three days earlier on Sunday, October 19, Slot's men already had their Premier League meeting with arch rivals Manchester United booked in for a 4.30pm kick-off.
