Liverpool Football Club has officially confirmed that their squad will wear the new Adidas kits starting August 1, 2025, marking the end of their five-year partnership with Nike and the beginning of a new 10-year agreement with Adidas. The 2025/26 season kits include a bold home and away design, commemorating the return of Adidas after nearly two decades.
The home kit, named "Strawberry Red," features a design similar to the iconic 2006-07 Adidas Liverpool kit worn by club legends like Steven Gerrard and Xabi Alonso. It is a straightforward red jersey with white Adidas logos, paired with matching red shorts and socks. The design excludes the large collar seen previously but retains a classic and no-fuss look that pays homage to the club’s heritage.
The away kit utilizes a clean "Wonder White" base accented with red and black hues, complemented by black shorts and white socks. Additionally, a bold green third kit is introduced as a throwback, adding a striking alternative option for the club. The kits are complemented by a range of training, leisure wear, and memorabilia, including the return of the Adidas three stripes on Liverpool kits.
To launch the new kits, Adidas and Liverpool released a short film titled ‘Your Dream. Our Reality,’ a poetic tribute blending the club’s storied past, present stars, and a look toward the future. The film features a young girl journeying through Liverpool’s history, dining with legends such as Ian Rush and Mohamed Salah, revisiting iconic moments, and concluding with a symbolic step onto the Anfield pitch.
Liverpool’s Chief Commercial Officer Ben Latty and Adidas Football GM Sam Handy expressed great pride in renewing their partnership, highlighting the kits as more than just uniforms but as symbols of a new era and a long-term commitment between the club and Adidas.
