The 2023/24 Bundesliga champion has signed a five-year contract and becomes Arne Slot's first signing of the summer.

Slot has moved quickly to find a replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold, who will leave the club this summer.

The 24-year-old is likely to take the number 30 shirt at Liverpool, the same number he wore at Leverkusen.
