Liverpool’s season gets underway on Sunday as they take on Crystal Palace in the FA Community Shield.
Although it does not count as an official trophy for the collection, it is always worth kicking the campaign off with some silverware.
The Reds have a good record in the competition, having won it 16 times, including the last time they competed in 2022.
That day, Liverpool sent out an early title warning to Manchester City, one which ultimately turned out to be a false alarm.
This time, Palace are the opponents, and Liverpool will start the day as strong favourites.
As excitement starts to build for another trip to Wembley, Liverpool have revealed which of their stunning new kits they will be wearing on the day.

Liverpool’s new Adidas kits have caused a stir within the fanbase.
After 13 years away, supporters are delighted to see the three stripes again.
The Reds debuted their new home strip at Anfield on Monday, with many in the crowd already having bought their replicas.

As Liverpool are nominally the away team for Sunday’s clash, the club posted on their official X account on Thursday to confirm they will be in their change colours against Palace.
Releasing an image with Mohamed Salah looking fantastic in the Adidas away kit, it seems the Reds will give their new look a first outing in London.
For those lucky enough to be travelling down to the capital for the match, they need not concern themselves with the TV coverage.
But for the rest of the fanbase up and down the country, TNT Sports confirmed on Monday that they will be showing the game live on their channel.
Kick-off is scheduled for 3pm on Sunday, August the 10th, with the game going straight to a penalty shootout if the scores are level after 90 minutes.
Although the trophy does not count as an official piece of silverware for whoever wins it, appearances and goals are counted towards tallies for players.
As a result, the likes of Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong could be in line to make their official Liverpool debuts.
