Exciting young Liverpool midfielder Trey Nyoni has signed a new contract with the Reds two years on from arriving from Leicester City, marking his 18th birthday with a present that marks the latest sign in his progression on Merseyside.
He is viewed as being one of the most highly-rated players of his age group and in his position in the country.
Despite only having just turned 18, Nyoni is an England U20 international.
Last summer, Nyoni impressed during Liverpool's pre-season and scored at Anfield against Sevilla.
That made him the Reds' youngest-ever player in Europe.
"It means a lot, obviously having supported the club when I was younger as well," Nyoni told the Reds' official channels.
"It's a great feeling but now I have to go out and show why I’ve earned this contract.
"I think it's just step-by-step and day-by-day, just getting better and better every day and improving as a player
I just have to repay them that way."
