Liverpool has confirmed its summer signings will wear temporary squad numbers for the first pre-season match against Preston North End on Sunday.

The Reds will take to the field at Deepdale against the Championship side, in what is the first match since the tragic passing of forward Diogo Jota.

Record signing Wirtz will wear No.58, while fellow additions Kerkez and Frimpong will wear No 57 and No.

Liverpool fans will also get to see new goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili in action, after he spent last season with Valencia following his transfer.
