Liverpool are reportedly considering Newcastle forward Anthony Gordon as Luis Diaz’s future remains uncertain following Bayern Munich’s strong interest.

The Merseyside club are willing to move for the English winger later in the summer, according to Football Insider.

The Magpies finished 5th, earning a Champions League spot for the 2025/26 season.

Arne Slot reportedly shortlisted Gordon earlier in June when links between Liverpool and the winger first surfaced.

Liverpool might be preparing for Luis Diaz’s possible exit and have started shortlisting potential replacements.

The club’s management is assessing various options to ensure they find a suitable player who can fill the gap and maintain the team’s competitive edge in the upcoming season.

Reports suggest Bayern Munich are going strong for the Colombian winger and are willing to offer close to €60m.

Liverpool have set their price tag close to €80m.

However, several sources claim that Bayern are prepared to increase their bid.

The Bundesliga champions are desperate to bring in a left winger after parting ways with Leroy Sane this summer, and Luis Diaz might now be their top target.

Earlier reports also suggested that Diaz is considering a move to the Allianz Arena after a verbal agreement was reportedly reached between the player’s camp and Bayern.

With Diaz’s future up in the air, Liverpool might have identified Anthony Gordon as a potential replacement on the left flank.
