Liverpool is considering approaches for three of its young players, while Harvey Elliott and Kostas Tsimikas could both also leave the club before the transfer window closes.

Elliott did not start a single meaningful Premier League game last season, while Tsimikas is surplus to requirements at Anfield following the arrival of Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth.

Elliott is the subject of interest from RB Leipzig, but the German club is yet to make a concrete offer for the England Under-21 star.

Speaking in June, Tsimikas said that there was a temptation within him to play more frequently at another club, but maintained that he was happy playing a bit-part role for the Reds.

"It's definitely a temptation to play more," Tsimikas said

"I'm happy here, for five years I've always been happy with these players I had by my side and with the jersey I wore.

"But for me the 27-29 games I play every year in all competitions are more than playing 40 for another team and in another league.

"Here I am on the Broadway of football."
