Liverpool could change system next season to accommodate new signing Darwin Nunez.
Liverpool announced the signing of the Uruguayan from Benfica last week (14 June).
That is the view of former Premier League defender Alan Hutton, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about Nunez’s arrival at Anfield.
When asked for his thoughts on the changing of the guard, Hutton told Football Insider: “It takes time to settle in but I have no doubt this boy will score goals.
“I think that’s what’s good for Liverpool moving forward, they’re not just sticking to the same thing.“
Nunez made 41 appearances for Benfica across all competitions last season, scoring 34 goals and providing four assists.
More than half of his goals were scored in the league, despite only making 28 appearances in Liga Portugal.
“I think there’s room for Jurgen Klopp if he wants to change formation.
