Caught Offside have reported that Liverpool are weighing up a move to try and sign Bayern Munich centre-back Kim Min-jae.
The report indicates that the Reds will battle Newcastle United, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan for the South Korea international.
It has been claimed that Bayern have set an asking price of €35million (£29.5million), which marks a decrease from their previous price tag of €50million (£42.2million).

Min-jae, 28, is also reported to be interested in a move away from Bayern after helping the German club win the Bundesliga title.
The centre-back only moved to the Allianz Arena in the summer of 2023 after helping Napoli win the Serie A title, with the Bundesliga giants reportedly paying €50million (£42.2million).
If Liverpool were to sign Min-jae, it could hand Bayern another transfer blow.
The Reds are interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz, and continue to hold talks over a deal for their £125million-rated playmaker.
