Morgan Rogers has been linked with Liverpool transfer interest(Image: Joe Prior/Visionhaus via Getty Images)Liverpool have been linked with a move for Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers.
The Reds used every ounce of their pulling power to bring the likes of Alexander Isak, Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike to the club during the summer in the wake of winning the Premier League title last season.
It remains to be seen whether Arne Slot's new recruits can bring him further success.
But Rogers is one of the freshest names linked with the club, earmarked in reports as a possible replacement for talisman Mohamed Salah when his successful Liverpool career eventually comes to a natural end.
The 23-year-old earned his ninth England cap during Tuesday night's 5-0 win over Serbia in Belgrade.

Playing for the national team is one of several achievements of Rogers' since his breakthrough transfer from Middlesbrough to Villa almost two years ago.
Also the winner of the PFA Young Player of the Year award last month, if Rogers has another strong season for his club, there is bound to be more concrete interest from clubs in the Premier League and across Europe.
But Liverpool might have an extra edge if it were to come down to a tug of war for the midfielder.
Lately it has been hard to miss the fact the midfielder has struck up a good level of friendship with former Liverpool captain, Jordan Henderson.
They reposted one another's Instagram stories following Brentford's meeting with Villa in the league last month, they did so in England training last week, and now they have done so again following the Three Lions' win that they both starred in together.

Henderson is one of the national team's more senior stars, and Rogers can learn a thing or two from the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winner.
But they aren't going to sit around all day talking about what is going on inside the England camp - Henderson is in a prime position to sing the praises of the club he spent 12 years of his career at, should Rogers wish to know more.
At least for now, though, it seems the midfielder isn't too focused on a future move.
Lastly, he played down 'outside noise' by stating just how important Villa manager Unai Emery's support is to him.
Rogers said: "It means everything.
As a player, when you feel wanted, loved, and you feel like they want you to be there and want you to be a key member of the squad, it means everything to you as a player.
"As a player, it’s alright having outside noise and fans liking you, that’s one thing, but to have the manager, who picks the team, to back you - that means everything."
