Liverpool are looking to retain the title, but their competitors around them are showing significant intent to challenge.
The Reds know that expectations are much higher next season due to how well they have strengthened their squad this summer, this adding to how dominant they already were in the previous campaign.
There is still expected to be a lot of change within their squad, however, with new signings expected through the door at Anfield once some stars have been sold.
Luis Diaz could be on the move and so too could Darwin Nunez, with Liverpool said to be keen on signing a new winger to help compete for places.
There are plenty of options on the market, but one in particular who has already set the Premier League alight and is wanted by Arsenal, meaning that making a move for him would not only benefit the squad, but get one over on their rivals too.

Buying a player who is already Premier League-proven can be hugely beneficial to reduce the risk of failure, although it will often come at a much heftier price.
However, when many clubs are interested, it suggests the player will be more than worthwhile, and Liverpool fans will likely already be able to tell this with Eberechi Eze whenever they see him play.
He certainly passes the eye test and it is no surprise to see Arsenal so desperate to get him, although the Independent report that Liverpool may still ‘come in’ for the Crystal Palace forward this summer.

They report that Eze’s preference at the moment is to join the Gunners, but the Reds may still join the race for his signature and reignite long-standing interest.

Despite heavy links to North London, no club has actually made an approach just yet, suggesting that the race is still wide open.
Eze’s contract at Selhurst Park runs out in 2027, meaning that he will come at some cost, with there also being rumours that he has a £68m release clause in his current deal.
If Liverpool have long-standing interest in a player, it suggests that if they do make a move, it has been carefully considered and it almost always works out for the greater good.
Eze is no exception and both on the eye and statistically, he appears to be the perfect player for the Reds next season, especially if they do lose Diaz.
