Vitezslav Jaros could be set for a swift reunion with former Liverpool coach John Heitinga as Ajax are reportedly exploring a deal for the goalkeeper.
The 23-year-old spent the 2024/25 season as the understudy to Alisson Becker and Caoimhin Kelleher at Anfield, but made his Premier League debut in the closing stages of the 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace in October.
But with Giorgi Mamardashvili arriving later this summer after the Reds agreed a £25m deal with Valencia last summer, Jaros' opportunities at Anfield could be limited again next season.
However, Dutch publication Voetbal International claims that Ajax are considering a move for the Czech Republic international, which would see him reunited with Heitinga after he left the Reds to become the Ajax manager earlier this month.
The 23-year-old, who has three years remaining on his current deal, is said to also be attracting interest from French outfit Lille.

As it stands, though, Voetbal reports that Liverpool's demands to allow Jaros to leave on loan are "too high" and Ajax and therefore drawing up alternative options.
Since joining Liverpool from Slavia Prague in 2017, Jaros has had four loan spells away from Anfield, including at Strum Graz, where he won the league and cup double with the Austrian outfit.

If Liverpool are able to agree a deal with Ajax, then a season in Amsterdam could be the perfect move for Jaros as he bids to build on up his credentials.
