Liverpool’s summer transfer window is well and truly up and running.
Indeed, the Reds haven’t wasted any time in getting deals done this summer, and they’re building something quite special.
Jeremie Frimpong has already signed for Liverpool, and now, a deal is agreed to bring Florian Wirtz to Anfield.
However, it may still be some time before Wirtz is officially a Liverpool player.
Wirtz is on holiday until next Wednesday, and with travel and a medical still to take place, this deal may not be announced for another week or so.
Interestingly, that means that Florian Wirtz may not be Liverpool’s next signing.

According to information given to Rousing The Kop by Graeme Bailey, there is a chance that Milos Kerkez arrives at Liverpool before Florian Wirtz.
Kerkez has been linked to Liverpool for a long time, and a deal appears to be progressing.

It is understood that Bournemouth are keen to push this move through as quickly as possible, and there’s an expectation that a deal will be agreed this week.
With a Kerkez agreement imminent and Wirtz away on vacation, there’s a chance that Liverpool may announce The Hungarian before the German.
Liverpool have spent big this summer already, and, frighteningly, they might not be done yet.
Indeed, while Liverpool will have spent over £200m when Wirtz and Kerkez arrive, there could be more on the way.

Liverpool still potentially need a new striker as Darwin Nunez is set to leave the club, and there have been some exciting links on that front.
Alexander Isak has been linked, while Hugo Ekitike is a target too.
Liverpool still have player sales to make that could help fund those deals as Luis Diaz’s future remains uncertain, Harvey Elliott could leave the club, while Nunez is also set to be sold.
Don’t be shocked if Liverpool’s spending this summer ends up closer to the £300m mark after years of keeping the pursestrings tight at Anfield.
