Liverpool has just three matches left of the Jürgen Klopp era as the German prepares to bring the curtain down on his nine-year tenure.

It had been hoped that there would be a final farewell in Dublin for the Europa League final but Klopp will instead wave goodbye on an emotional last day against Wolves.

The recent difficult run means it is highly unlikely the Premier League title will be up for grabs.



Liverpool needs nothing short of a miracle to still be in the mix, with Arsenal and Manchester City pulling clear this weekend.

Liverpool announced back in January, shortly after Klopp confirmed his decision to depart, that cameras had been filming for a documentary series and would continue to do so for the remainder of the campaign.

Liverpool's quadruple push has faltered since then, although footage did capture the Carabao Cup success over Chelsea at Wembley back in February.

It is said that Disney+ had been considered favorites to show the documentary, but no contract has been finalized.

The series is reportedly set to air in August 2024 in time for the new Premier League season, when Liverpool is set to be led by incoming head coach Arne Slot.

Speaking about the documentary, Klopp told Liverpool's official website: "With this being my final season I thought we should provide a rare opportunity for viewers to have more of an inside look at what makes this club so special: its people, from our fans to our players and those who work so hard behind the scenes, constantly in pursuit of success for Liverpool Football Club.

“Thanks to this new documentary series, viewers will be able to see what I see every day at this great club, and understand those amazing people more.”

Liverpool.com says: This season is not going to end the way that many hoped, and dreamt, it would.

That said, the opportunity to get a glimpse into the club during Klopp's final season will appeal to all football fans, and not just those at Anfield.
