Both Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk were spotted in Liverpool training ahead of the visit of Wolves this weekend in a double boost for Jürgen Klopp.

Elsewhere, it appeared that the other Liverpool players expected to be involved in the training session were all present, as Liverpool count down to the final day of the Premier League season.

Entering the third week in May, the quadruple is still alive for the Reds — and this latest double boost can only have helped their chances of pulling off the almost impossible.

Perhaps more importantly, though, Salah and Van Dijk will both be key parts of the Liverpool plan to beat Real Madrid, not least with the former having limped off in the last Champions League final between the pair back in 2018.

The Reds boss had stated earlier in the day during his press conference that he would ideally like to have them involved in the final game of the season against Wolves to get them in rhythm ahead of facing Real Madrid in the Champions League final.

"We will not take any risks," the Reds boss explained.
