Prior to that Alexander-Arnold had come off the bench to score a late winner at Leicester.
He tore off his shirt in a passionate display as he raced over to the away fans.
Luis Diaz and Harvey Elliott were among the Reds players past and present who made their love clear.
The England international posted a series of photos from the Leicester win on his Instagram after the game and wrote: "Special Moments" - before the love from players past and present poured in.
