Luis Diaz and Alexis Mac Allister will be savouring their decisions to sign for Liverpool after celebrating the club winning the Premier League title.
On Sunday, the Anfield crowd roared the team to an emphatic 5-1 victory over Spurs, with Diaz and Mac Allister getting on the scoresheet and kick-starting joyous scenes around the stadium and beyond.
The two players have featured in all but one of Liverpool’s league games during their title charge and have more than earned their Premier League winners’ medals.
Under Ange Postecoglou, the club narrowly missed out on a Champions League spot last season and have since fallen to 16th in the Premier League table, pinning their remaining hopes on winning the Europa League.

Similarly, Liverpool had to fight off rival interest to sign Mac Allister from Brighton in 2023.
The west London club finished sixth last year and are battling for a Champions League spot this term after deploying a hectic transfer policy in recent years.
Mac Allister was one of four midfielders signed by Jurgen Klopp in his final year as Liverpool boss.
However, the Argentine’s father, Carlos Mac Allister, explained to the ECHO how the Reds’ eagerness to sign his son and a conversation with Klopp saw Liverpool win the transfer battle over the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City.
"The reason why Alexis went to Liverpool is because they showed so much interest in having him on their team,” Carlos told the ECHO in October 2023.
When he received the phone call from Jurgen it was important in deciding which team he should choose to play for.”

Back in the present day, the Liverpool squad will still be basking in the joy of winning the Premier League title.
