Steven Gerrard, the iconic Liverpool midfielder, alongside his former Liverpool teammates Robbie Fowler and Michael Owen, has been shortlisted for the Premier League Hall of Fame. This Hall of Fame, established to honor the best players in the Premier League since 1992, will induct six players from a list of 23 nominees through a combination of public and panel votes.

Gerrard, a product of Liverpool's academy, played 504 Premier League matches over 17 seasons, scoring 120 goals. Known for his driving runs, leadership, and long-range strikes, he is regarded as one of English football’s greatest midfielders. Despite never securing a Premier League title, he won numerous other trophies with Liverpool, including the famous 2005 UEFA Champions League. Gerrard also earned significant individual honors such as eight selections in the PFA Team of the Year and appearances in the UEFA Team of the Year and FIFA World XI.

Fowler, also from Liverpool’s youth ranks, ranks eighth on the Premier League’s all-time top scorers list with 163 goals, while Owen stands just below him with 150 goals. Both have had distinguished careers at Liverpool and beyond.

Fans were invited to vote for their Hall of Fame choices up to May 9. Gerrard’s election into the Hall of Fame recognizes his exceptional contribution to Liverpool and the Premier League, cementing his legacy alongside his distinguished Liverpool contemporaries, Fowler and Owen.
