Liverpool will have six representatives in this year’s Ballon d’Or running.
Thursday’s nominations list revealed the Premier League champions have no fewer than four first-team players in contention for the individual award.
Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Alexis Mac Allister were all nominated after their starring roles in the Reds’ re-ascent to English football’s pinnacle.
New recruit Florian Wirtz is also eligible in the vote decided by journalists from across the globe for his exploits with Bayer Leverkusen and Germany.
Alisson’s exploits during Anfield’s memorable campaign earned him a place on the Yashin Award’s shortlist, having won the inaugural award in 2019.
The Brazil international is up against nine of his contemporaries including Premier League rivals David Raya, Matz Sels and current holder Emiliano Martinez.
Arne Slot, meanwhile, will be battling it out for the Cruyff Award, which is given to the year’s outstanding coach, after guiding Liverpool to the title.
Slot’s achievement will be pitted against those of PSG boss Luis Enrique, Chelsea’s Enzo Maresca, Hansi Flick at Barcelona and Antonio Conte of Napoli.
Liverpool themselves are also in the running to become the latest recipients as Club of the Year, vying with PSG, Chelsea, Barcelona and Botafogo.
All winners will be revealed at a ceremony in Paris on September 22.
