The hunt for a striker continues at Liverpool as Arne Slot reportedly wants to bring in a forward this summer.
The Merseyside club doesn’t seem to be slowing down this window.
Liverpool have signed Florian Wirtz, and he will join Anfield soon after the club reportedly reached an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen last week.
Wirtz’s transfer fee is reportedly around €150m, and the Reds are also close to signing left-back Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth, according to multiple reports.
These two deals might cost the club around €195m, with Kerkez’s fee expected to be around €45m.
Arne Slot has already unveiled Dutch right-back Jeremie Frimpong as the first signing of the summer, replacing Trent Alexander-Arnold.
With reports emerging about Darwin Nunez’s potential departure, Slot is looking to add a proper striker to partner the Egyptian forward, Mohamed Salah.

The Premier League champions have identified the Swedish striker Alexander Isak as their dream target for the striker role.
The Newcastle United forward is admired by the Liverpool management.
Fabrizio Romano revealed that Alexander Isak has been Liverpool’s dream target since day one, but no talks have taken place so far, and it remains a very complicated deal for the Reds.
Isak finished as the second-highest scorer in the Premier League last season with 23 goals for Newcastle.
He also netted the second goal against Liverpool in the EFL Cup final to help his team lift the trophy.
As per multiple sources, Isak’s price tag could exceed €100m, and Newcastle haven’t yet decided whether they will sell him.
Liverpool is currently focused on finalising the Kerkez deal before addressing the striker position.
