The EFL have confirmed the fixtures for next season's Carabao Cup and there's some major changes to the schedule due to the 2022 World Cup.
Round Three – 9 November, 2022 (Liverpool enter at this stage)

While the Reds typically begin their Carabao Cup run earlier in the campaign, this year, the third round fixtures will take place at a later date of the week commencing 9 November, 2022.
Jurgen Klopp will hope is side can replicate their domestic success in the upcoming campaign, having also collected the FA Cup trophy back in May.
Round four, or the round-of-16, will kick-off in late December (21 December, 2022) shortly after the World Cup final in Qatar.
The first round draw takes place this afternoon (Thursday, June 23) but Liverpool won't be entering the competition until round three, when they look to begin their defence of the title.

Liverpool clinched the trophy for a record-breaking ninth time last season after beating Chelsea on penalties in the final.
