Liverpool’s summer transfer business has hit a snag, and it comes in the shape of Darwin Nunez.

The Uruguayan striker, once seen as the future of the Reds’ attack, has reportedly turned down a big-money move to Saudi Arabia.

Nunez has been at the center of exit rumours for weeks.

That stance could throw a wrench in Liverpool’s transfer plans, especially with the club trying to free up funds for a new striker.

Nunez’s role at Anfield has changed.

Even though he played a part in Liverpool’s title-winning campaign, he often came off the bench.

Selling Nunez would help balance the books for another bid.

But Nunez seems to have other plans.

For now, though, he remains part of the first-team squad and is expected to feature in the upcoming Community Shield clash with Crystal Palace.
