Liverpool has been handed a tricky double header across the Premier League and Champions League after the Reds' European fixtures were confirmed.
The draw for the league phase of the Champions League took place on Friday, and Liverpool was handed several tricky assignments, including games against Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan.

Liverpool beat Madrid 2-0 on November 27 on the way to finishing at the top of the inaugural league phase of the competition, before backing it up with a 2-0 reverse of City on December 1.
