Liverpool were forced to make some big changes for their crucial meeting against Newcastle.
Monday night football saw Newcastle host the Reds in one of the most eagerly-anticipated games towards the start of the season, with Liverpool coming out on top.
They did so without their full strength XI too, with Alexis Mac Allister the most notable absentee due to a minor fitness issue.
However, due to injuries elsewhere, Arne Slot was forced to play Dominik Szoboszlai at right-back, a huge decision given the magnitude of this meeting.
With that said, the Hungarian did not fare badly at all, with Liverpool fans giving their verdict on his performance as a whole.

One thing Newcastle are blessed with is very talented wingers, with the Magpies starting the game with a front three of Anthony Elanga, Anthony Gordon and Harvey Barnes.
They did not finish the game with all three, however, as Gordon was sent off just before half-time due to a very late challenge on Virgil van Dijk.
Before this, though, all of them were causing the Reds real problems, but Szoboszlai coped rather well all in all, something fans were quick to point out.

A fifth supporter added: “Is Szoboszlai a midfielder or a defender..
he has controlled this game confidently?”
A sixth wrote: “That’s top-class back post defending from Szoboszlai.
Really professional stuff!”
A seventh fan was left surprised, saying: “Szoboszlai at right back?
I can’t lie, he’s been decent,” while a final added: “Szoboszlai being this good at RB is not something I ever thought I would see.”
When Florian Wirtz arrived, many were left wondering how many minutes Szoboszlai would get, with this a huge worry for the Hungarian ahead of the campaign.
However, as proven in this game, as well as throughout pre-season, he should get plenty of minutes due to his ability to play almost anywhere.
Of course, playing at right-back is not ideal, but at least that is an extra option for Slot should he need it.
He can also play as a number eight, number 10 and on the wing, something that Liverpool fans will love and should mean he will be a key player during their title defence
