Liverpool fans have demanded the Reds make a move for Jeremie Frimpong after another dramatic afternoon for Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The Liverpool right-back was named on the bench against Arsenal - in what was his first game since confirming that he will be leaving Anfield at the end of the season once his contract expires.
Conor Bradley was named in his place, with Arne Slot keen to see him become Liverpool’s first-choice right-back.
He continued his excellent form on Sunday as he scored a sumptuous left-footed strike against Borussia Dortmund.
While Leverkusen ended up losing the game 4-2, Frimpong still earned plenty of praise - particularly from Liverpool fans.
Taking to social media, one said: “Sign him now.” while another wrote: “Get him signed.”
A number of fans also offered their take by comparing Frimpong to the outgoing Alexander-Arnold.
A further fan said: “Brilliant replacement for Trent of course he’s not great defensively but is he any worse than Trent defensively no he’s quick strong and great going forward.”
