Liverpool will have some big decisions to make this summer and the future of certain stars hangs in the balance.
The Reds do not need to sell players this summer as they are in no danger of breaking PSR rules, but they will want to as their squad is getting rather large.
Further incomings are likely and this will only increase the size, hence why they are keen to move some players out the door this summer, even if that does mean losing some key individuals.
Luis Diaz is linked with a move away and it would come as somewhat of a surprise given that he was one of Liverpool’s best players last season.
Saudi clubs, Barcelona and now Bayern Munich are interested in the Colombian, although the Reds maintain their stance and insist he is not for sale.
However, rumours that Diaz wants to leave have been circulating, causing this saga to get a little messy, something that has left Liverpool fans all feeling the same way.

Fans are split regarding Diaz as on one hand, he is integral to the way Liverpool tick, but then on the other, they could get a hefty fee for him.
The player himself and even the club seem torn on what to do, leaving fans rather confused, with no one really knowing where he will end up.

One fan wrote: “There are so many conflicting reports regarding Diaz.
Very important player to the Liverpool project.”
A third fan added: “Does that mean we just don’t want to sell him at all?
I agree that Diaz is a great player for the team, but then you have to extend him… if not you’re going to end up with another player who’s going to leave for free.”

A fourth fan put: “I think we are waiting for crazy money from Saudi.
Because the player himself is leaning towards a departure.” Another supporter then replied to that by saying: “Why would they wait for Saudi and not listen to any offers, makes no sense they’re better off creating a bidding war.”
A sixth fan simply wrote: “Why keep a player that doesn’t want to stay?” While another put: “Not for sale at the price offered?
He’s clearly for sale at the right price.”
A final fan put: “It will be difficult to find a high-quality replacement for Luis Díaz this summer.
Díaz is still a valuable asset — that’s exactly why clubs like Barcelona and Bayern are chasing him.”
The Reds’ stance is that Diaz is not for sale, and that needs to stay the case all summer as he is far too important to the team.
At 28, he is in his prime and fresh off the back of his best season in a Liverpool shirt to date, with all the signs suggesting he is only going to get better.

Not only is he on an incredibly low wage in comparison to his quality, but the other left-wing options are nowhere near as good as the Colombian, while their wages would also be considerably higher.
Unless a huge offer comes in for him, like the £73m that Al Nassr are reportedly set to offer, the Reds need to do all they can to keep him at Anfield because there are not many better around than the Colombian.
