For most of the Reds’ players, this is a period of down time after a long season as they all relax before coming back in for pre-season training on 7th July.
However, for some of the younger stars, they are using this time to prove to their managers why they should be in the starting XI week in, week out, and Harvey Elliott is no exception.
The Englishman has been one of the nation’s best players so far at the tournament and has played a vital role in helping them get to the final.
His performance in the semi-finals against the Netherlands was, arguably, his best yet, with the 22-year-old scoring a stunning brace to win them the game.
Amid all the transfer speculation, he is certainly proving why he would be good value for money for whoever signs him, although Liverpool fans all seem to have the same opinion now after seeing him tear it up on the big stage.

Elliott has never been a player who lacks quality, he just has not been given much chance to prove it in a Liverpool shirt, especially since Arne Slot came in.
Now, the midfielder is laying down a marker and proving to his Dutch boss that he should be given more of a chance to shine, with Reds supporters agreeing as well.

A fourth fan wrote: “I wish this lad stays.
He is ours now… let’s keep him!”
One fan even went so far as to put: “Liverpool selling Harvey Elliott is the most ridiculous decision the club has made in decades.”
A final fan wrote: ” Harvey Elliott the game changer.
Think again Liverpool.”
There is no denying that Elliott is a quality player and it would be a real shame for Liverpool to let him go, especially as he is a boyhood Red, but he needs to leave to take his career to the next level.
The Englishman himself knows he might have to depart Anfield for this exact reason and he isn’t short of suitors, with Brighton and Wolves wanting Elliott this summer.
Elliott has been compared to Phil Foden and when you ask any manager or players, almost all of them believe that he is destined for the top.
However, with Mohamed Salah out on the right-wing and now Florian Wirtz in his preferred number 10 role, his potential for minutes seems more limited than ever, suggesting he may have to depart Anfield despite the fans wanting him to stay.
