After a long summer on an individual programme, Alexander Isak managed to train with the Liverpool squad for the first time.
The international break has come to a close and the Reds are starting to arrive back at the AXA training ground for training ahead of their Premier League clash against Burnley.
A new face that has been added to the ranks is that of Alexander Isak, who is officially a Liverpool player after completing his record-breaking £125m move from Newcastle.
Isak managed to play around 18 minutes for Sweden in the week, with the striker now training with the rest of his new teammates as he looks to regain his match fitness.
Whether he is a little rusty or not is yet to be fully known, but based on a training video that Liverpool released, fans reckon that the Swede is not far off from making his debut.

New signings always get fans excited but when they have the stature of Isak, every supporter wants to get a glimpse of them in training.
During one of the drills, Isak can be seen sending academy player Wellity Lucky to the floor with a nonchalant piece of skill before putting the ball in the back of the net.
And now, Liverpool have given fans the content they desperately wanted after the Swede’s first day for the Reds, and there is one part that has left them in disbelief.

This has done the rounds on social media and fans absolutely loved it, with one writing: “He’s effortlessly good!”
Another loved his calmness, saying: “Did you hear that little sigh he let out at the end?” followed by laughing emoji, while one compared it to what he did to Micky van de Ven last year against Spurs, writing: “HE RAN IT BACK!”
A fourth added: “Wow, this guy is at my club!” while a fifth simply wrote: “He’s so skillful man.”
Another wrote: “That’s just wicked…” while a seventh referenced how he might link up with Hugo Ekitike, saying: “Having him and Ekitike in the same team is horrifying.”
A final fan seemed to feel very sorry for Lucky as it was him who was left on the floor, with the supporter saying: “Nasty work” followed by three crying emojis.
The main thing for Liverpool and Isak now is to get him to full fitness before risking him in any game, but that might not be as far away as people would think.
After managing some minutes for Sweden in the week, and now featuring in training for the Reds, there is a good chance he gets some minutes against Burnley.
If he did, however, it would very likely be off the bench and for a very short time, especially due to the amount of games Liverpool have to play this month.
With the Champions League returning in the week as well, there is also a chance that no risk is taken and he sits the Burnley game out, but either way, it seems as if he is getting sharper and sharper by the day.
