At this time of year, fans will be eagerly awaiting their club’s next social media post, hoping to get a glimpse of what their new signings are like both on and off the training pitch.
Liverpool fans will be no different and they have been keen to see what Hugo Ekitike is like, with everyone hoping he is that clinical finisher that the Reds have been missing for so long.
And, after seeing videos of him in training, it is fair to say he has convinced fans of his abilities, with some of his finishes being nothing short of remarkable.

Another fan referenced a famous Liverpool song by writing: “It’s ‘poetry in motion,'” while a fifth put: “What have we signed!”
Another supporter added: “Ekitike looks electric in training, nailing those finishes alongside Ngumoha and Salah!
This front three has serious potential!”
A seventh made a jokey comment regarding Liverpool’s transfer business, putting: “Bro heard we are signing Isak and started showing his full potential already.”
A final fan put: “Hugo Ekitike is going to be an absolute hit next season!”
It goes without saying that all new signings will want to come in and play their best football from the very off, but Ekitike might need to do this more than most.
With Alexander Isak potentially set to join, the Frenchman will need to prove why he should be in the starting XI each week, whether that be alongside or instead of the Swede.
Negotiations for Isak will likely take a bit of time and might not even happen before the new season starts, giving Ekitike plenty of chances to prove his worth.
His Liverpool career will begin properly on Wednesday, and if he can show a clinical edge, he should see plenty of minutes next season.
