Liverpool fans reacted furiously after the period of silence at the start of Sunday's Community Shield was soured by a small minority of Crystal Palace fans at Wembley.
Supporters were told over the public announcement system to maintain silence at the start of the game as the players gathered at the center circle.
The FA had confirmed in advanced that this would take place just before kick-off.
The Palace fans had been incredibly vocal before the game with excitement obviously high ahead of the club's first-ever Community Shield appearance.
But there were several audible noises from the Palace fans before the game - in truth they never really were completely silent after Chris Kavanagh blew his whistle for the start of the period of silence.
Liverpool fans eventually responded with boos and the period was blown up early.
