Bellingham started in the first warm-up match ahead of Euro 2020 for England in their 1-0 win over Austria - and prior to the game, the Reds skipper handed him the number eight shirt.

"It was a dream come true, especially to get it from Hendo, who has been such a big part of the team," Birmingham City's youngest ever player said.

He recently sent fans into a frenzy after he emphasised his admiration for Steven Gerrard, he tweeted in response to a video of the former Liverpool captain with two exploding head emojis.

Earlier today, Henderson tweeted a picture of himself with Bellingham and sent out a positive message.

The Reds skipper said: "Treat every cap like it’s your first. The future is bright @BellinghamJude".

Henderson's tweet has caused further excitement amongst the Reds supporters fuelling the anticipation surrounding the youngster with some fans hinting at a potential transfer for the highly-rated prospect.

Whether there is any credence to their 'Agent Hendo' theory remains to be seen.

England will kick off their Euro 2020 tournament on Sunday, 13 June against Croatia with both Bellingham and Henderson potentially in line to be in Southgate's starting XI.
