Ian Wright says ‘Liverpool fans know’ that Everton can beat them at Anfield next Monday night ahead of the Merseyside derby. The Premier League legend added that looks ‘confused’ and ‘bemused’ as his Liverpool side continues to struggle. Whilst Everton, who had new boss Sean Dyche in the dugout for the first time, beat leaders Arsenal 1-0 at Goodison Park, their neighbours were torn apart by Wolves hours later.

A number of weeks ago, everything was going wrong for the Toffees, and whilst fans are still against the board, Dyche’s arrival and that win over Arsenal have certainly lifted things.



Ahead of that match, Wright sounded out a warning to the Red side and what their fans will have to admit, “Liverpool fans, they know that at this moment, Everton coming off that and coming to play them,” said Wright. “Liverpool fans will know that they could be beaten by Everton.
