Harvey Elliott is a player who has been hyped up by Liverpool fans ever since he entered the first-team fold under Jurgen Klopp.

The performances put in by Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister, and Dominik Szoboszlai have all kept the Englishman out of Arne Slot’s plans, which has no doubt been rather detrimental to his progression.

So, it doesn’t come as all that much of a surprise to see Elliott already getting linked with an Anfield exit, with an update since emerging about whether Liverpool will be happy to let him go.

The player himself has said he’s not sure what his next steps are going to be, with rumours about his future sparked further following Elliott’s interview after Liverpool’s defeat at Brighton.

Since that game, journalist Florian Plettenberg has provided an additional update on the 22-year-old’s future, revealing on Thursday that the Liverpool owners and hierarchy will not stand in Elliott’s way if a suitable offer comes in for him.

Finally, this fan wrote a heartfelt message, saying: “Deserves his chance to play more.

And, while his stock is still high, it feels like now is the right time for Liverpool to call it quits and perhaps put any money earned from his sale back into the team in other ways.
