So, it doesn’t come as all that much of a surprise to see Elliott already getting linked with an Anfield exit, with an update since emerging about whether Liverpool will be happy to let him go.
The player himself has said he’s not sure what his next steps are going to be, with rumours about his future sparked further following Elliott’s interview after Liverpool’s defeat at Brighton.
Since that game, journalist Florian Plettenberg has provided an additional update on the 22-year-old’s future, revealing on Thursday that the Liverpool owners and hierarchy will not stand in Elliott’s way if a suitable offer comes in for him.

This, in turn, has created a bit of friction among the Reds’ fanbase.

Finally, this fan wrote a heartfelt message, saying: “Deserves his chance to play more.
And, while his stock is still high, it feels like now is the right time for Liverpool to call it quits and perhaps put any money earned from his sale back into the team in other ways.
