Furious Liverpool fans have compared Trent Alexander-Arnold to Michael Owen and Steve McManaman after the right-back announced on Monday he will leave the club at the end of the season.
Two-time Premier League champion Alexander-Arnold is expected to join Real Madrid as a free agent after reaching the end of his contract.
While Salah and Van Dijk have cemented their legendary status at Anfield by putting pen to paper on new two-year contracts, Alexander-Arnold has been compared by fans to former Reds stars who were tempted away from the club by the allure of Los Blancos and the Santiago Bernabeu.
